Hi, I’m Shelly!

I’m a children’s book illustrator, and I love creating whimsical worlds for young readers with big imaginations.

I’m drawn to dreamy stories, the kind that tug at our heartstrings. Those are the stories I wish to illustrate.

The magic of childhood is at the heart of everything I create, and I’m endlessly inspired by my own four children. Being their mother has given me a front-row seat to their hilarious musings, big emotions, and unique lens on the world.
When I illustrate, I reconnect with my own inner child.

Alongside my illustration work, I design digital brushes for Procreate, inspired by my own illustration process and created to infuse joy and ease into the digital painting process.
